shiny

I made quite the to-do about my broken iPod, so it only seems fair to mention that my shiny replacement iPod arrived late last week. I like to imagine it was packaged by the nice phone support agent who validated my indignation with being overly apologetic that they didn't replace it earlier. And I was nothing but cordial to him. It was not an apology forced by Overwrought Customer Syndrome.

Anyway, my (so far) functioning iPod is full of music. That makes me happy.

Howdy Kristine. Mark Lampert here. Read about your iPod troubles and thought you might dig this article. No surprise that a lot of people are pissed about various iPod models, but it's nice to see it get in the news.

For the record my iPod Mini (the ones we got from Eidos post layoff season in 2004 back at Ion) is still functioning, though the battery life has dwindled to the point that I'd be throwing the thing at the head someone from Apple had I paid for it myself. I'd estimate it will pump out about two or three hours of life before needing a full recharge. At the moment I've resigned myself to shitty gym radio until I soon invest in something else more reliable.

    Cheers,
